T-riffic Season...

Against my better judgement I decided to sign both Andrew and Austin up for tball this summer. Andrew had a lot of fun with it last year, and I thought Austin would get a kick out of it, too. Also, I thought it might help that our neighbor was going to be their coach and her son was playing as well. Unfortunately, he was not as interested in it as his older brother, so we spent many games trying to convince him to play. Thankfully, Andrew jumped right in and had another successful season.

Lazy Summer Days...

There is nothing I have enjoyed more this summer than just relaxing at home and watching my boys play in our backyard and basement. It's rather nice to just enjoy being home, and not stress over the things we are missing on the outside world. I guess that's the nice thing about being on bedrest; it's a good excuse to get out of running all around. These are our top 5 ways we've been enjoying our lazy summer before Alexis' big arrival...
1.Water fight fun in the backyard...
Andrew shooting unsuspecting Tanner...
Austin loaded and waiting for his next victim...
Andrew claiming victory over Veronica...
Aaron just chilling and staying out of the way...
2. A game of Twister...
3. Staying cool in a pool...
Andrew jumping right in...
Austin about to make a splash...
Aaron floating along...

4. Riding on a pony at friends house...
5. Rub-a-dub-dub, fun in the tub...
Austin's foam hat...
Little hams...
Squeaky clean...
Snug and dry...

Boys & their Toys...

Today we spent the afternoon outdoors with the kids playing in the yard. One of their favorite summer activities includes cruising around the yard in their jeeps. They thought it would be fun today to play "bumper cars" in them. Austin and Aaron didn't mind whatsoever that they had to drive the Barbie jeep (it was a hand-me-down from their cousin) while Andrew got to drive the "manly" one even though he is far too big for it. I keep telling them we will paint the pink one to boy colors but I swear they don't care as long as it runs. I must admit, it was a hoot to watch! All in all it was quite a delightful day!!!
