Kids Gone Wild...

At the Zoo!
Austin's kindergarten class took their annual trip to Binder Park Zoo this past Friday. Luckily my mom was able to watch Aaron and Alexis, so I got to tag along with his class. Despite the cooler weather, we had a great day seeing the animals and exploring the outdoors!

Look What We Can Do...

Every year, the elementary does a special music program called "Look What We Can Do". Family and friends are invited to attend a 40 minute presentation in the music room to see what the kids have been learning in music class. It always a fun treat to watch them perform so proudly, and both my guys did very well!

A 'Zoo'pendous Mother's Day...

As a treat this Mother's Day, the local zoo was giving free admission to all moms, so my family thought it would be a great way to celebrate the holiday. Although it was considerly warm and the zoo was crowded, the kids enjoyed spending an afternoon with their Papa & Nana Krim, Aunt Patty, Uncle Eric and cousin, Finn.

Unfortunately, those are the only photos I was able to take because Aaron had a melt down when we got to the giraffes, so he and I spent the rest of the afternoon eating ice cream wandering around the zoo by ourselves. Thankfully Eric and Patty were able to take Andrew, Austin and Finn through the rest of Wild Africa, while my parents took Alexis to the petting zoo. And once everyone had their fill of visiting animals, we all met up with a couple of my brothers at a local restaurant for dinner. We spent the rest of the evening hanging out and enjoying each other's company while chowing down on some good food. It turned out to be a fabulous Mother's Day!
