It Can't Be True! Alexis is 2...

As hard as it is to believe, my baby girl turned 2 today! It's even harder to believe how much she has grown over the last year! At her 2 year check up she weighed a measly 23.4lb and measured 32 1/2 inches which put her in the 5th percentile, meaning she is a quite petite girl! But don't let her small size fool you, because her personality is larger than life!

She's definitely hit the terrible twos toddler years with a vengeance! She's certainly one of my more curious kids, and tends to problem solve far too well for a 2 year old! She spends the majority of her day getting into everything playing with her toys. Her favorite things to play with right now include her baby doll stuff, kitchen stuff and books. She reminds me a lot of Austin the way she climbs and bounces on everything! However, she does have a delicate girly side to her. She likes helping pick out her outfit and shoes for the day, and usually screams "Pretty, pretty!" as I put her hair up. She acts like the queen bee of the house and has put her brothers in their place a few times, but they absolutely adore her. Honestly, just about anyone who comes in contact with her is charmed thanks to her innocent blue eyes and contagious dimple smile. Even though she gives me a run for my money some days, she's the sweetest little girl a mother could ask for!

For her birthday today, we were on the go. I took her (and the boys) to get their birthday pictures taken, and then we all went out to lunch. Afterwards we headed back home to celebrate with birthday brownies and presents.
